The Deep is a comic book and graphic novel series by Tom Taylor and illustrated by James Brouwer. The series revolve around the Nekton Family and their adventures.
The series was originally published by Gestalt Comics, which published the first two graphic novels of the series, Here Be Dragons in 2011, and The Vanishing Island in 2013. The Comic was later re-issued by KaBOOM!, an imprint of Boom! Studios in 2017 as a limited series and later made its way as a graphic novel where it consisted both story arcs of "Here Be Dragons" and "The Vanishing Island".[1]
The series was later adapted as an animated series in 2015.
