The first season of the animated series premiered on December 1st, 2015. Season 1 began with "Here Be Dragons" and concluded with "Tartaruga".

In Australia, 7TWO, a digital television sub-channel of the Seven Network, premiered the animated series for the first time and was the first network to air the animated series over-the-air. It was the only season to be aired on that network in Australia in the show's history, since following the first season, it was moved to ABC ME starting with Season 2 (with the Seven Network no longer involved in any production). Despite this, the Seven Network still holds the TV airing rights for the first season.
Outside of Australia, the animated series was aired in Family CHRGD in Canada, RTE in Ireland, CBBC in the United Kingdom, and Universal Kids in the United States.
Netflix[]
Season 1 was released on Netflix on June 1, 2016 in the United States, where it has exclusive SVOD rights there. Netflix would later receive these rights internationally as the series progressed. Some countries, including in Latin America, receive exclusive rights to be aired on Netflix.
