Professor Fiction activating A.I.M.Y. for the first time on-board the Aronnax.
A.I.M.Y. was an AI created by Professor Fiction for the Aronnax.
Appearance[]
A.I.M.Y. is an AI Program installed to the Aronnax. Its hard drive was installed under a compartment in the Aronnax at the back section under the bridge.
History[]
Professor Fiction created A.I.M.Y. for the Nekton's Aronnax submarine. After Ant unveiled his new Shadow Knight, Fiction made some minor adjustments and installed a hard-drive into A.I.M.Y.'s hardware and later demonstrates some of the features of A.I.M.Y. to the family.
After receiving a call from Commander Pyrosome of the World Oceans Authority regarding to a problem with Matilda Marshall, a course was set to take the fastest route via "Dead Man's Reef", although there was skepticism over one of the routes A.I.M.Y. created for their journey to their destination.
Functions[]
The purpose of A.I.M.Y. is to "help and protect" the Nektons.
A.I.M.Y. is voice-controlled, meaning that in order to do any actions, a person must say a command to A.I.M.Y. in order for it to work. As usual, it can give a status report, which can give out water temperature, wind speeds, as well and current tasks and events that is happening (for an example, announcing that Professor Fiction's birthday is coming near). In addition, A.I.M.Y. can create routes to a destination, feed Jeffrey, and also control the Aronnax including the equipment in the Moon pool.
Although intended to help out the Nektons, A.I.M.Y can also interfere with the Nektons' actions and activities by rejecting any activities that can cause harm to the Nekton's own safety, putting safety over the Nekton's priorities.
Even though it primarily controls the Aronnax, it can also control the Rover but it cannot control the Shadow Knight, although it can locate the Knight's coordinates.
